Did you know that 1 in 4 men are at risk of suffering from heart problems? High blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking and obesity can all contribute to heart disease.

Statins

There has been a lot of news in the press about the miracle effects of statins claiming that they can reduce heart attack risks by 25% to 30%. If you have your cholesterol checked and it is above 5 and you have raised blood pressure chance are you will be put on Statins. Interestingly only 50% of heart attack patients have high cholesterol!

If you have had a heart attack then statins may cut down the risk of having another heart attack. However if you haven’t suffered from a heart attack and are simply overweight and a smoker, the evidence is much weaker.

Natural approach

Dietary and lifestyle changes are highly effective to securing your heart health. We will give you some dietary tips, natural compounds, and key lifestyle changes that will improve your cholesterol levels and lower blood pressure.
